Ningwood and District Residents Association

Membership open to residents of Shalfleet Parish

The Association was formed during 1997 and is supported by a Chairman, Honorary Treasurer, and a committe of seven, The object of the Association is to provide a platform for discussing local issues, and making the ‘Voice’ of our community heard, the idea being that the Association is seen to carry more weight than an individual. We also hope to build a better communication between neighbours, from the regular meetings and events that we have.

We discuss and communicate over security issues and Ros Runnette is a committee member and the Neighbourhood Watch co-coordinator.

There is a subscription of £5.00 per resident however £10.00 will cover a household. News letters are mailed and personally delivered to keep members in touch with events, and special meetings are organised for issues such as the ‘Wellow Wind Turbines. The ‘Motel’ protest. School and Road Safety Developments in the area where the Parish Council needs additional support.
